[Know More]

This Pic is from my trip to Yedur Veerabhadreshwara temple, near Chikoddi, Karnataka, India. This massive tree was refusing to fit into my wide lens camera single pic. Anyway, I was amazed to see the size of the tree that I could correlate it to the Bollywood icon -Don who is so powerful, so massive ! As Don says 12 countries police are trying to catch him, this tree cannot be cut by 12 people :-)

Note:   Preserve trees, its responsibility of each & everyone of us to come together to plant & maintain more trees around us in city areas as well. Apart from furniture demands, lots of trees are cut with reason to widen roads or for similar reasons. Lets hug a tree tightly & pledge to save it !

Simple things you can do to save trees
1) Plant more trees & maintain them. roadsides & highways make journey pleasurable, green canopy drive Just Wow !
2) Take print out if only essential.
3) Recycle anything & everything, even wood products.
4) Use alternate energy sources apart from firewood like solar energy Wind power etc.

Any other suggestions & ideas , please drop in a comment .

Lets hug a tree tightly & pledge to save it !

Moral science stories for kids 7: The one with overcoming past things

Further to this article on past grudges.

http://www.indusladies.com/forums/blogs/jaishvats/how-i-wonder-5716/

This article being very true, does not provide solution. There is a quote: Everyone in your life is gonna hurt you, you just have to decide to be ok with some of them. Indeed very true, our lives are complicated & driven by different passions, even making more money is one of them. With age & experience of dealing with the world, we should try to see the big picture always. Does any event have any importance say after 10 years, does this issue which hurt me so much now would be of any relevance after 5 years? I have made my wife cry over something but she knows I have also cried just for making her cry. As far as love is constant between two people, they can overcome past grudges specially with those with whom we have chosen to be ok with in our lives like spouse, siblings, parents uncle/aunty even friends etc. After two unknown people from different walks come together to become friends, they just dont mind what other one says, coz deep underneath there is friendship, love & care for each other, but be sure not to cross boundaries always whomever is the person, you never know when you may hurt them! Almost everyone has complaints about the way their parents brought them up. Some overadvised them caring them too much. some paid less attention to let their children drift away from them. life becomes easier if you pool people in the ok pool, you dont have to keep grudge with them & always see big picture in life, respond to a situation, dont react. by responding to a situation we essentially take time to see the big picture & analyse from all possible angles.

Son, I have done nothing wrong, this is the best I could do.
Please forgive me if possible & let me be free from guilt.

Dad, past is past, some wounds cannot be healed.
I want to forgive you, but I am sorry I really can’t.
Some things are best left unsaid.

Common-man & his Superpower

With so many superhero movies, He-man, Superman, Spiderman, Ironman, Hanu-man, (these English channels pronounce Hanuman as Hunu-man) & noe the avengers which includes many super heroes, I felt kind of lonely, it made me wonder, who am I ?  Is there a superpower I may posses, perhaps unknowingly ? Can I describe myself completely when I say - I am common man. Does this definition encapsulate my personality, attitude towards life etc completely?  What is my character, my personality in comparison to these heroes ? Yes I am a common-man, although it rhymes with all super hero names, common man is just yet any man, you see in a crowd & pick anyone & define him, this definition totally explains me, & yet I once discovered my super power too - Its adjustment in life. Especially Indians get adjusted to anything & everything, that probably comes in their blood or learnt from parents. So I wonder sometimes, Is this adjusting attitude a kind of superpower?  On one hand it makes life easier & probably happier depending on the extent of enjoying on the compromised things. A typical common man optimizes on everything, on every thing he purchases, he worries about inflation, savings etc, going green is added now. Common man's life is synonym to simplicity, with no glam sham. Indians adjust on anything & everything. We many sometimes take it by default that we need to adjust on a particular issue without even consciously trying to be idealistic about our expectations. Indian standard time is always an offset ahead of the correct time. Official meeting happen late than scheduled time. Doctors make their patients wait after giving an appointment time. In Bangalore 'Swalpa adjust maadi' has become so common phrase meaning adjust little bit. The transport system runs late by default, say a govt bus arrives after exactly after half an hour of its scheduled departure time. People stand on the bus door with just one foot & hand inside, the trains are always crowded, even there was an instance when pilot allowed a kid inside cockpit.

I always wanted to be someone special, the monk who sold his Ferrari or the guy who purchased it. On the fantasy side, I don't know I always wanted to be Spider-man, just loved the pleasant & wonderful character in the movie.

The pic is from the movie- A Wednesday, amazing movie based on the concept of common man becoming furious & taking some action against terrorism.
